Four clans, four home islands, and one middle worth building a longship for.

Every house starts alone on ground of its own, and the only way off it is timber: five of it buys a longship, and a longship is the only thing that crosses open water. The island in the middle is bigger and richer than anything any of you were born on, and everyone can see it. Forty turns to decide who holds it.

Water is the only real border. A mountain is a toll; the sea is a wall. Fell a forest for timber now, or hold it and take three a turn for the rest of the match. Ore only comes from seams, and the rich ones are all in the middle.

How to play

Tap or click a hex holding your band to select it, then tap a highlighted hex to move there. Tap a settlement to raise a band, build, or fortify from the action rail: each settlement does one thing a turn. Lay down a longship beside open water to carry a band across the sea, the only way to reach another island.

End Turn when every piece has acted, or hold it to end the round early.

With a keyboard: Tab cycles between pieces that can still act, Enter presses End Turn (hold to confirm), Escape deselects, and Ctrl+Z undoes your last move.

Hold the ground, raise halls, and out-legacy the other three houses by turn 40.
